About this notice

ThousandFoot LLC operates the ThousandFoot company website and the Archetyped marketing pages that link to this notice. This notice explains how we handle information associated with website visits and inquiries.

It does not describe the processing of a customer’s operational data inside an Archetyped deployment. That processing is addressed by the agreements and privacy information applicable to that service.

Information you provide

When you send an inquiry, we receive your name, email address, any organization name you choose to provide, and the contents of your message. If you continue the conversation by email, we also receive the information you include in that correspondence.

Please do not submit passwords, confidential customer records, or other sensitive information through the website form.

Website and security information

Our website is hosted by Squarespace. Providing, maintaining, and protecting the website involves processing technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages accessed, and referring-page information when available. Some site-usage information may remain available even when optional analytics cookies are restricted.

We use Google reCAPTCHA on the inquiry form to help distinguish legitimate interactions from spam and automated abuse. This service processes technical and interaction information and uses security-related cookies.

How we use information

We use inquiry information to respond to you, understand the operational problem you describe, evaluate a potential engagement, and manage related correspondence. Website and security information supports website operation, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention. We may also use relevant records when necessary to meet legal obligations or address a dispute.

Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter. We do not sell website inquiry information or use it for targeted advertising.

Service providers and disclosure

Squarespace hosts the website, processes the form, and stores submission records. Google Workspace provides our business email service, including the delivery and storage of inquiry notifications and correspondence. Google reCAPTCHA supplies form abuse protection.

Information may be disclosed to a professional adviser when necessary for a business or legal matter, or where required by applicable law. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Cookies and visitor activity

We configure Squarespace to restrict its non-essential cookies and disable its visitor Activity log. These settings do not eliminate technical processing needed to deliver and secure the website or all processing by third-party services. Necessary website cookies and security-related technologies, including those used by reCAPTCHA, may still operate.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some necessary or security-related technologies may affect website or form functionality.

How long information is kept

Retention depends on the purpose for which information is needed: responding to an inquiry, continuing an active discussion, maintaining relevant business records, addressing a dispute, or meeting a legal obligation. An inquiry that becomes a client relationship may form part of that relationship’s records.

Copies of submissions can exist both in Squarespace and in our business email. Website inquiries are not currently subject to an automatic deletion schedule. Requests to delete information are reviewed across the relevant records we control, subject to applicable law, legitimate retention needs, and service-provider backup processes.

Your questions and requests

Contact info@thousandfoot.io with questions about this notice or requests concerning the personal information you have provided. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or otherwise limit use of your personal information, and to raise a concern with a privacy regulator.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request and will respond in accordance with applicable requirements. An email is sufficient to start the request; do not send identity documents unless specifically requested through an appropriate method.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our website or information-handling practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
